Cloth Market shopfront stabilisation works has won the Heritage Projects Award at the IStructE Northern Counties Structural Awards 2022 alongside Mawson Kerr Architects and Historic Property Restoration. The project also received a Special Commendation in the Medium Projects (valued £0.5m to £3m) Category.

Manchester Cathedral Organ Article Wins ICE Publishing Award

Emma and Charles authored the article 'Pre-deflecting a steel platform to support a new organ at Manchester Cathedral, UK' and we were honoured to be published in the ICE Engineering History and Heritage Journal. The article was awarded the Telford Premium Prize for exceptional quality and benefit to the civil engineering, construction and materials science community.

We Own a Drone!

The engineering team are now licensed drone pilots and are now carrying out high level surveys of fantastic historic buildings in low risk environments. Our first survey was at the Grade II listed Crimble Mill looking at the chimneys, roof coverings and the water tank.
