Elaine is a conservation specialist architect with over 25 years of experience working in the care and repair of historic buildings, their adaptation, alteration and reuse. She has a Masters Degree in Conservation Studies from the University of York.

Emma graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. She worked as a Graduate Engineer in Glasgow before joining Blackett-Ord Conservation in 2015. She became a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2024.
